Brown tells us it was a heartfelt decision to make because he loves the city. He has served on many organizational boards in the city of Lufkin and has served in leadership roles at Lufkin First Christian Church for the last 20 plus years. City council member Mark Hicks and former council member Don Langston will run for mayor of Lufkin.
