McDonald and Dodds season 2: What is DS Dodds' first name? :

While he is the co-star of McDonald and Dodds, it is unclear what his first name is.
Throughout the series, the detective is simply known as Dodds and in typical police fashion, everyone refers to each other by their surname.
This makes Dodds even more mysterious as we learn early on his colleague McDonald and boss Houseman's first names are Lauren and House respectively.
