Patrick Stout MACOMB — The McDonough County Health Department has announced that the county is now in the Illinois Bridge Phase for COVID-19 mitigations. Bars and restaurants can operate at 60 percent capacity, indoor social events can accommodate up to 250 people, and outdoor gatherings can accommodate up to 500. A standard of 60 percent of capacity is allowed for personal care establishments, health and fitness locations, offices, amusement parks, zoos, and performing arts areas. The health department is sponsoring a walk-in coronavirus vaccination clinic today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Blandinsville Park tennis court. Health Department Public Information Officer Raeva Farris-Tucker said, "The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is available to youth ages 12 through 17." Vaccination clinics for anyone 12 or older have been scheduled: Friday, May 21 from 9 a.m. to noon at Macomb Schools; Monday, May 24 from 9 to 11 a. m. at West Prairie Schools, and from 2:30 to 5 p.m. at Bushnell-Prairie City Schools.
