McDONOUGH COUNTY — For ten years, the McDonough County United Way has hosted hundreds of guests each year, as they bid on purses and bags in a silent and live auction, benefitting local, non-profit agencies in McDonough County. While the Power of the Purse was not able to be held in the fall as it has traditionally, safety precautions have been put in place and the show will go on in 2021.
Power of the Purse, sponsored by Macomb Audiology & Hearing Aid Center and IPI Wealth Management, will be divided into a two day event at the Spoon River College Outreach Center at 2500 E. Jackson in Macomb.
