Mexican authorities issue arrest warrant for former governor

Mexican judge orders arrest of former governor and his daughter 'with links to drug cartel' over money laundering charges
Mexico's Office of the Attorney General on Monday obtained an arrest warrant for Roberto Sandoval, the former governor of the state of Nayarit
An arrest warrant was also issued for his daughter, Lidy Sandoval
The ex-governor and his daughter are being accused of laundering money
Sandoval reportedly purchased real estate with illicit money and then placed the properties under the name of his family, including his daughter 
Former governor Sandoval and his daughter allegedly have direct ties to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel
