By Donna Goodison, Steven Burke March 16, 2021, 12:34 PM EDT Microsoft on Tuesday apologized for a worldwide outage that impacted Azure cloud services including Microsoft Teams, Office 365 and Dynamics 365. “We understand how incredibly impactful and unacceptable this is and apologize deeply,” Microsoft said in a post-incident review report on the outage, which was the result of “authentication errors” across multiple Microsoft cloud services. “We are continuously taking steps to improve the Microsoft Azure platform and our processes to help ensure such incidents do not occur in the future.”
