Mike Collings made it a fifth Ballinger Belt title on Saturday. Mike Collings has made it a famous five Ballinger Belt titles, after once more getting his hands on one of New Zealand’s oldest sporting trophies. Collings, of the Te Puke Club, came up trumps in Saturday's final round of the five-day long-range target shooting competition at Seddon Range, Trentham. Competitors shoot from 300, 500, 800, 900 and 1000 yards range, with the final round being from the 900-mark, with 15 shots counting, and Collings overcame his 2010 Commonwealth Games gold medal-winning team-mate John Snowden, who had been leading all week.
