Miller High Life wants Champagne of Beers Region in Milwaukee

Beer for a year, $20,000 and an all-expenses paid trip to Milwaukee. 
That's what Miller High Life, also known as the "champagne of beers," is offering the person they select to be the official ambassador of the Champagne of Beers Region.
Never heard of that place? That's because it doesn't exist ... yet. Miller High Life is petitioning the Milwaukee Common Council to designate Milwaukee's Miller Brewery grounds as the Champagne of Beers Region. 
“We respect Champagne, France, as a tourist destination and the weight that name carries for the sparkling wine — but we’re all about beer at Miller, and with our long history of brewing, we wanted to give beer lovers a tourist destination they deserve," Anne Pando, senior marketing manager, said in a news release.
