Six people died, including the pilot and co-pilot, when a plane from Belfast City airport crashed in foggy conditions at Cork airport on February 10, 2011. The flight crashed while making a third attempt to land at the airport. Six passengers survived. Staff on duty at Cork Airport held a minute's silence at 9.50am yesterday.
