Police said the rescue was the work of Ashlee Florey and her son Oliver. As they were letting dogs outside, they heard someone yelling for help from about 100 yards away. As they were looking everywhere for the source, Oliver recognized neighbor Richard Isaacs in the water, yelling “there he is in the red shirt!” Arriving at the water, the two saw Isaacs, who had been trying to keep his head above water in the pond for about 40 minutes.
