But we have to recognize that as a woman at the podium and as a South Asian woman at the podium and certainly as a black woman at that podium, she has a particular line that some people are expecting her to tell that she will show up as lawyerly and prosecutorial but she also has to appease certain people by not crossing into the category of Angry Black Woman. That is an impossible task to do because no one how clearly or eloquently she expressed herself, some people think that anyway. We know there are additional expectations placed on her because of race and class. There should be high expectations for every single president ial candidate yet these are higher than we have ever seen. This is interesting because the former White House Indications Director told Investment Platform that he expects trump to use racist Dog Whistles and viciously try to tear at her and attack her. He said instead of focusing on policy as Hillary Clinton did, harris should lean into the Sparring Match and outwit him. How much should she hit back as opposed to appearing calm and president ial . I go back to something that britney just said. One of the things that Kamala Harris is going to have to rise above and one thing every black woman unfortunately has to rise above is Angry Black Woman trope. Will be difficult considering that Donald Trump will use racism. He will use sexism. He will use all of these things that we have seen him use on the Campaign Trail irrespective of his advisers and the current speaker of house advising him not to do so, he will use as an Attack Line for her because water to bite back. For Kamala Harris it is remaining stoic and in the policy wing. And calling out and naming him for who he is and what he does. She cannot get up there and spark back and forth. I do not think it is fruitful for the american people. It is definitely not fruitful for her or her campaign. Shes done an excellent job rising above the muck. Even when President Trump tried to make her decide what race she could be. Kamala harris does not have to prove to Donald Trump who she is comes to those who she is. She misses stick to her points. Just to showcase her Policy Agenda and also to call him out for the person he happens to be. We will see the prosecutor versus the convicted felon. I think we will see Input Racism and white supremacy on full display. Kamala harris is a smart woman who has been a woman of color her entire life. Theres nothing he could say on that states she has not heard. She is risen to the ranks that she has in spite of these things, not because of them. Former senator Liz Cheney has joined the ranks of republicans. I dont believe we have the luxury of writing in candidate s names, particularly in Swing States. As a conservative and some who believes in and cares about the constitution, thought deeply about this and be because of the danger that Donald Trump poses, not only am i not voting for Donald Trump, but i will be voting for Kamala Harris in this election. Adding to that her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney is also backing harris calling Donald Trump the greatest threat to american history saying he can never be trusted with power again. What you think the impact is of endorsements like this from prominent republicans . I think the campaign has a responsibility to be very careful here. When it comes to this debate, there are moments that are beneath the dignity of the office and if it comes to those racist tropes or sexist tropes, that kind of sparring and back and forth says those kinds of questions and that line of thinking is actually worth answering and they are not. Their places for her to fight. So if you want to see the Kamala Harris that we saw in the senate questioning Brett Kavanaugh on the rule of law, on the things that matter, on the policies that matter. Especially, the progressive and younger wing of the party that is looking closely to what the policy answers are going to be. Holding the balance between support from moderate republicans all the way to i think Dick Cheney, someone who is further to the right everyone who is naturally part of the tent on the left feels seen, heard, and respected in her plans is going to be a place but she will have to occupy. Is critically important that the campaign continues to remind people that even republicans are saying this party has gone too far afield. Donald trump is a nonstarter and even Dick Cheney thinks a republican party at this point is out of hand but that should be coming out of the mouths of surrogates.
