Multiple drug charges filed in Jersey County Scott Cousins, scousins@thetelegraph.com FacebookTwitterEmail JERSEYVILLE — Numerous controlled substance and methamphetamine-related charges were recently filed in separate incidents by the Jersey County State’s Attorney’s Office. Jeffry C. Young, 55, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, was charged Jan. 6 with possession of methamphetamine 15-100 grams, a Class 1 felony; and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor. According to court documents, on Jan. 5 Young was found to be in possession of between 15-100 grams of methamphetamine, and a glass pipe. Bail was set at $10,000. Other drug-related charges filed recently include: • Brandi J. Dobson, 39, of Winchester, was charged Jan. 5 with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony. According to court documents, on Jan. 5 she was found to be in possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine. Bail was set at $10,000.
