Naples philanthropists shed clothes to shed light on food insecurity NAPLES, Fla. – When the Naples Players decided to perform “Calendar Girls,” the most philanthropic women in town were asked to do the same thing as the based-on-a-true-story play — shed their clothes and show some skin for a charity calendar. We’re talking Myra Daniels, Patty Baker and Diana Riley to name a few. While COVID-19 threw a wrench into the original plan, the women knew the cause was worth their bold bareness. “Calendar Girls” is the real life story made into a movie about a women’s group posing tastefully nude for a calendar to raise money for a charity.
