NDDC: Group faults ex-militants, Reps minority caucus on sole administrator Olalekan Adetayo, Abuja The Network Advancement Programme for Poverty and Disaster Risks Reduction, on Wednesday, faulted the position of the Reformed Niger Delta Avengers and Minority Caucus of the House of Representatives on the recent appointment of sole administrator for the Niger Delta Development Commission. The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), had on Saturday sacked the Kemebradikumo Pondei-led Interim Management Committee of the commission and named the acting Executive Director, Finance and Administration, Effiong Akwa, as the sole administrator. The RNDA, however, faulted the appointment of Akwa who it described as a brother to the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio, saying the appointment would be provocative and could trigger a new round of violence in the creeks.
