Need to strike a balance between life and livelihood while imposing lockdown: CSIR chief

PUNE: Lockdown helps in containing the spread of coronavirus, but affects the economy adversely and hence there is a need to strike a balance while imposing it, Director-General of the CSIR, Dr Shekhar Mande, said on Sunday.
