New database will name 6,500 British investors in slave trad

A Dictionary of British Slave Traders to be compiled by team of British academics
Database will feature biographies of investors with links to the slave trade
Among them will be the Duke of Chandos and Robert Walpole, Britain's first PM
Greene King and Lloyd's of London have both apologised for roles in slave trade
Organisers say the Black Lives Matter movement made the project more important in highlighting Britain's involvement in the slave trade
