New Farmington Public Schools’ superintendent discusses plans for first year Delgado Advertisement FARMINGTON — On May 13, the Farmington Public Schools’ Board of Education, in a 7-0 vote, offered Chris Delgado a contract to serve as the district’s next superintendent. The decision came after an extensive interview process that saw two rounds of public interviews, where candidates took questions and discussed plans for the district. Bobbie Goodrum, the assistant superintendent for diversity, equity and inclusion, served as the interim superintendent during the search. “We are all so excited to welcome him to our already incredible team,” Board of Education President Terri Weems said in a press release. “We are confident he will leverage the talent in our district to produce the best outcomes for our students. We all really look forward to working with him.”
