The list of new laws are few compared to past years. The ongoing coronavirus pandemic cut short spring sessions and kept lawmakers out of chambers. The following is a list of new laws: Illinois: SB 0667- Caps co-pays for insulin at $100 for a 30-day supply. HB 2708- Makes two amendments to the Missing Persons Identification Act: Law enforcement agencies can collect DNA samples of a missing person and their family members and share the DNA with the national Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs).
