How that happens is up to companies and experts who respond to a Request for Proposals issued by NJ Transit Thursday that asks for an “inventive and original solution to increase mass transit capacity” between Secaucus Junction and the Meadowlands Complex. It’s the second major step after a November 2019 innovation challenge NJ Transit held for ideas.
