(Seminoles.com) – A strong performance by freshman Brett Roberts puts the Florida State men’s golf team in first place following the first round of the Seminole Intercollegiate at Golden Eagle Country Club in Tallahassee. Roberts sits at second overall on the player leaderboard after the first day, shooting a 5-under 67 on Friday afternoon. His 5-under 67 score is the lowest score in any round for the freshman so far this season. He was also one of the five players today that shot an eagle with his occurring on the 15th hole.
