North Wales, Upper Gwynedd to recognize Pride Month with flags

NORTH WALES — Two local towns will be flying more colors than just the traditional red, white and blue soon.
Both North Wales Borough and Upper Gwynedd Township plan to fly rainbow Pride flags at their municipal buildings through June, after talks and votes by their respective elected officials last week.
"The question is, has the borough made any plans to raise a Pride flag at borough hall, and/or Weingartner Park?" said North Wales council President Jim Sando.

"The answer is no, we haven't had any discussion about that, until you brought it up this evening," he said.
