Located in the borough s Walnut Street Park just north of the intersection of Main and Walnut Streets, a wooden arch stands over a walkway connecting the sidewalk with an adjacent parking lot. A plaque at the base of the arch indicates it was Constructed by North Montco A.V.T.S  â now the North Montco Technical Career Center â Building Technology Class of 1990, and a circular plaque atop the center of the arch reads North Penn Chamber Community Enhancement Award.
NORTH WALESÂ â Two local towns will be flying more colors than just the traditional red, white and blue soon.
Both North Wales Borough and Upper Gwynedd Township plan to fly rainbow Pride flags at their municipal buildings through June, after talks and votes by their respective elected officials last week. The question is, has the borough made any plans to raise a Pride flag at borough hall, and/or Weingartner Park? said North Wales council President Jim Sando.

The North Penn Fire Company s firehouse at 137 S. Main Street in North Wales is seen at right, next to a former mill building at 141 S. Main where the fire company has proposed façade improvements including a new fire engine berth door and window for a radio room.
