December 14, 2020
Paullina, Iowa — A northwest Iowa man is behind bars, facing a felony charge after he was arrested on Saturday.
According to criminal complaints filed by Sutherland Police Officer Jami Webster, on December 7th, she was called to a commercial building on North Cannon Street in Paullina. The owner of the property reported a burglary.
Webster says that the owner had video surveillance running, and after reviewing the footage, the owner believes that 34-year-old Benjamin Stanley (whose address is listed in Alton in one document and Larrabee in another) allegedly broke into the property. Webster says the surveillance footage shows a subject breaking into the building with a screwdriver and walking over to the shelf of power tools where the subject grabbed four items and walked out of the property.
