OCEAN CITY, Md. – The Kentucky Derby kicks off on Saturday, but here on Delmarva, we’re talking about the dog derby. It’s the first ever one being hosted by the Ocean Downs Casino, and you can bring your dog dressed to the nines ready to show off their best derby outfits. The dogs will walk in a parade, and judges will pick the best dressed pups and even hand out cash prizes to the winners. The event kicks off on Saturday at the casino at noon and the best part is that all benefits are going right toward to the Worcester County Humane Society.
