COLUMBUS, Ohio (FOX19) - Two Tri-State lawmakers say legislation to increase the state’s minimum wage will bring more economic security and stability to Ohioans and boost the state’s economy.
Sen. Cecil Thomas (D-Cincinnati) and Rep. Brigid Kelly (D-Cincinnati) say they will introduce a bill to increase the minimum wage from $8.80 per hour to $10 per hour in Jan. 2022, then $1 per hour each year until Jan. 1, 2027, when it would reach $15 per hour.
