On Monday, the state unveiled its new centralized sign-up website for the coronavirus vaccine, gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov. The Vaccine Queens -- who have, sitting at their kitchen tables, already booked appointments for more than 1,000 elderly and unconnected Ohioans -- express their disappointment. CLEVELAND -- Gov. Mike DeWine, in handwritten notes to us, spoke of a centralized state scheduling system that was set to go live prior to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) mass-vaccination site opening at Cleveland State University’s Wolstein Center. That website launched March 8; the mass vaccination site opens in less than ten days, on March 17.
