One man killed, another injured in I-310 shooting says sheriff

One of the two men shot Sunday morning on I-310 in St. Rose, has died. The shooting happened in the southbound lanes.
According to St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, Corporal James Grimaldi, “One subject, an 18-year-old male that resides in Vacherie, Louisiana, was treated for a gunshot wound to his back and was released from the hospital a short time later. The second subject, Dovante Mitchell, a 25-year-old male from Edgard, Louisiana, sustained a much more severe injury from the gunshot and succumbed to his injury while at the hospital, several hours after the incident occurred.”
