Carolyn Jefferson-Jenkins, Ph.D., is an educator, activist, advocate, author, historian, and a national and international speaker on women’s history, women’s suffrage, elections, African-American history. She served as the 15th President of the League of Women Voters of the United States and Chair of the League of Women Voters Education Fund, 1998-2002.
