Only a quarter of Red Wall voters back Labour's pledge to reintroduce 2030 car ban - but the majority support Rishi Sunak's plan to delay the restriction on new petrol and diesel cars to 2035

Labour frontbenchers have said the party would recommit to the original date as part of moves to switch to electric cars, but just 27 per cent of Red Wall voters backed the decision, a poll reveals.
