OTTAWA -- Ottawa Public Health says 112 more people in the city have tested positive for COVID-19 and one more person has died. Across Ontario, public health officials reported 2,864 new cases of COVID-19 and 3,596 newly resolved cases. Another 25 Ontarians have died from COVID-19. Public Health Ontario reported 107 new cases of COVID-19 in Ottawa on Saturday. Figures from OPH often differ from those provided by Public Health Ontario because the two health units pull data for their respective daily reports at different times of day. According to Ottawa Public Health, there have been 25,220 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ottawa since the pandemic began and 521 people have died.
