The Silver Lake Pool had been slated for permanent closure until residents complained to the Rochester Park Board and city council. The city hopes to use a portion of the $17.5 million it expects to receive from the American Rescue Plan Act to cover the lost revenue from the pools. If the expenditure is deemed ineligible for the federal money, the city will tap the council's contingency fund.
