Palm Springs bounty hunter case: mother Lisa Vargas arrested

A woman wanted in connection with the killing of a Palm Springs man in his home has been arrested and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, Riverside County jail records show.
Lisa Vargas, 53, is the mother of the bounty hunter accused of firing the fatal shots, according to police. The Riverside County Sheriff's Department, which is investigating the incident, has not said why she was permitted to leave the scene of the shooting.  
Fabian Herrera, 36, has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of David Spann, 33. Herrera is also charged with possession of a firearm, ammunition and body armor as a convicted felon.
