One man killed in two separate Friday shootings

A suspect is detained and a man is also arrested for shooting a gun inside a Northeast Portland convenience store.
Police are investigating two shootings on Friday, including a fatality in North Portland,
The names of the victim and suspect were not immediately released.
According to police, shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 12, officers responded to a call about an injured person at a house in the 4700 block of North McCoy Court. When the officers arrived, they found one man who had been shot and passed away.
One person was detained and the street was closed off for an investigation.
