From a street in Quezon City sprung a well-intentioned scheme denominated Community Pantry, which offers goods and essential commodities including rice and everyone on Maginhawa Street was welcome to take them for their families' needs. Soon, this gesture became viral on social media and more Community Pantries were set up everywhere in the Visayas and Mindanao area. People flocked to these structures and obtained whatever their families needed for the day to stave off hunger and keep them alive.
