Read Article PARIS — The Select Board voted unanimously to remove Gary Mayer from the Planning Board during a brief meeting Monday evening. Town officials said Mayer had attended just two meetings and none since early May. The board was told that he had not responded to any notifications or emails about meetings. His spot on the Planning Board was given to alternate David Knox, who was appointed by a 5-0 vote. The board will now look for a new alternate member. In other business, Town Manager Dawn Noyes announced that the town will receive $2,623 refund from the Maine Municipal Association for workman compensation for its safety record.
