Ned Lamont's decision to change vaccine eligibility to an age-based system instead of offering it to front-line essential workers and people with pre-existing conditions first. More than 1,600 Patch readers took the informal survey between Tuesday and noon Thursday. Around 62 percent of Patch readers who took the survey said they strongly agreed or agreed with Lamont's decision to change the vaccine roll-out process to an age-based system. Subscribe Vaccine sign-up and appetite There is still plenty of demand for the vaccine in Connecticut. An overwhelming majority of respondents who said they haven't gotten a vaccine dose yet said they plan to sign-up as soon as they become eligible.
