Sheriff T.C. Smalls announced the results of a four-day, county-wide sweep that targeted illegal drug distribution in Hampton County after more than a year of investigation. “Operation Pentagon” targeted the five major drugs distributed in the county--heroin, fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and crack cocaine--to eradicate the levels of drug infestation that have plagued our streets, communities and neighborhoods, according to a HCSO release.
