Phillipsburg man charged in 6-week heroin-meth sales probe, prosecutor says Updated Mar 16, 2021; Methamphetamine and heroin were recovered, Prosecutor Jim Pfeiffer said in a news release. Jeffrey Wolfe, of the 300 block of Firth Street, was charged with two counts of distributing heroin, two counts of possessing heroin, three counts of possessing with intent to distribute less than a half-ounce off heroin and one count of distributing less than a half ounce of meth, Pfeiffer said. All those charges are third degree offenses and each one has a maximum sentence of five years in prison and fines of $35,000 (for possession) and $75,000 (for distribution), the prosecutor said.
