Plano officer made 92 DWI arrests in 2020 amid personal effort to curb drunk driving

Officer Brittany Feagans of the Plano Police Department has been recognized for leading the city’s department in drunk driving enforcement, after making a total of 92 DWI/DUI arrests in 2020.
Nineteen of those arrests came in the month of December alone. Only three of them were crash-related, meaning she likely prevented other crashes, according to the department.
Feagans joined the department in 2015 and was hit by a drunken driver herself in 2019. She pledged to keep drunk drivers off of the streets, according to the department.
