Silicon Valley-based Plug and Play has hired its first Topeka-based staff member to lead the capital city's startup accelerator program. Plug and Play — a self-described "innovation platform" that aims to find, invest in and advance startup companies — announced on Monday that Lindsay Lebahn, the former director of Topeka's Forge Young Professionals group, has been hired to manage the local Plug and Play accelerator. She described her new role as "the glue that keeps everything together," as she expects to lead the program's outreach, marketing and communication efforts. "I'll be the point of contact for anyone that is interested," Lebahn said.
