(AP) - A retired Aurora police sergeant stands accused of helping a man who detonated a pipe bomb in a residential area hide evidence that could link the man to the crime. The Aurora Sentinel reports that 69-year-old Curtiss Christensen was arrested March 3 for investigation of playing an ancillary role in the Christmas Day bombing outside an Aurora home. No one was hurt in the blast. A probable cause affidavit released Wednesday alleges that Christensen helped the accused bomber, 43-year-old Scott Campbell, get rid of a car he used to transport the bomb and urged him to dispose of other evidence. Campbell was arrested at Christensen’s home on Jan. 15.
