Queen of the South apologise after breaking Scotland’s tier 4 restrictions to allow George Galloway into match

Scottish Championship club Queen of the South have apologised after breaking tier 4 regulations to allow politician George Galloway to attend their match against Dundee on Boxing Day.
Galloway, the former MP, posted a picture of the match at Palmerston Park where he watched Saturday’s Championship encounter alongside his family, much to the anger of fans who remain locked out of games.
Under Scottish government rules, only 10 directors or senior club personnel from each team can attend a match in tier 4 restrictions, with strict rules banning guests from going to fixtures while the harshest coronavirus laws are in place.
