An alleged car boot abduction in Sydney’s south has taken a surprise twist after a warrant was issued for the victim’s arrest over a criminal charge she is facing in Queensland.
Nisha Phillips – who was rescued from the boot of her own car after catching the attention of a passing motorist by waving her hand out of a hole created by a missing tail-light – had a scheduled court date at Ipswich Magistrates Court near Brisbane on Friday.
