Rain and storms on tap Tuesday, Wednesday North Texas is in for a rainy, stormy couple of days. The Storm Prediction center has placed a large section of the Southern Plains under a Slight Risk of severe weather on Tuesday. The risk area extends from southern Kansas to the Texas Big Bend and includes all of North Texas. The area of greatest concern for severe storms on Tuesday is just to the west of Wichita Falls. The National Weather Service said rain could begin in the Wichita Falls area by 10 a.m. and a few thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon. More severe storms are likely to develop in the evening and overnight.
