Rains prompt TxDOT to revise closure plans on Harbor Bridge

It will be reopened June 26. 
Motorists heading south on Port Avenue will be detoured onto Martin Luther King Drive and follow the detour signs to Nueces Bay Boulevard and Leopard Street.
Drivers heading north on Port Avenue will be detoured onto Leopard Street and follow the signs to Nueces Bay Boulevard and Antelope Street.
Portable message signs will help motorists navigate the alternate routes. Business driveways along the closed section of Port Avenue will be granted access for customers and employees.
Motorists are urged to be aware of the closure, consider using alternate routes, follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones.  All work is weather permitting.
