(Google Maps) CHICAGO — A 31-year-old man was shot and killed walking out of Cook County Jail Saturday night after being released on electronic monitoring, the Chicago Tribune reported. Two women also suffered injuries in the shooting. Chicago police said the 31-year-old man, identified by the news media as Londre Sylvester, was with a 60-year-old woman around 8:50 p.m. in the 2700 block of West 27th Street, near the Cook County Department of Corrections and just a block from the George Leighton Criminal Courthouse, when two people got out of a car and fired guns, striking them both.
