The legalization of marijuana in New Jersey prompted much rejoicing from locals and people everywhere Monday, plus some envy from our neighbors.
“(It’s) time to celebrate,” tweeted North Bergen comedian Joey Diaz after Gov. Phil Murphy signed the three bills that made marijuana legal in the state after New Jerseyans voted in favor of a marijuana ballot question, following years of failed legislative efforts.
