The March 21 letter, “The US doesn’t have an official religion,” absurdly misrepresented thousands of irrefutable matters of record recognizing Christianity’s role in our constitutional republic, including the Supreme Court’s unanimous 1892 decision declaring America a Christian nation — in an immigration dispute no less. But by 2019, Stephen A. Flick observed how far activist judges had moved American law from its Christian foundations, stating, “Those jurists may rightly be charged as advocates of tyranny.”
