Recent death is a reminder of issues facing homeless population The Daily Jeffersonian The recent discovery of a 31-year-old man's body inside an abandoned church in Cambridge has once again raised awareness of issues facing the city's homeless population. "The same people who are prone to drug and alcohol use will often find themselves homeless," said Roberta Combs, a coordinator at the Freedom House Homeless Shelter. But there is help for them. The shelter is a ministry of Called to Freedom Fellowship and as a result, has specific rules and regulations that must be followed at the facility on North Fourth Street in Cambridge.
