The spring slate kicks off at Trinity Forest Golf Club, a 6,258-meter par 72-style golf course that was recently home to the PGA Tour’s Byron Nelson Invitational. The Red Raiders will play 36 holes on Monday, starting with an 8:30 am shotgun start, followed by a similar start time for Tuesday’s final round. Due to the COVID-19 protocols, each team plays together in groups of five. This is the fourth time the Red Raiders have participated in the SMU Trinity Forest invitational axis Tech took his best finish at the event last season in second place overall. In that same tournament, junior Sofia Garcia equaled her best round of 8-under 64 to take her fourth individual tournament win, the most earned by a Red Raider in school history.
